Aluminium Fabrication Sydney

Pergolas, balustrades, fencing, privacy screens and gates — cut, welded and powder coated to your measurements, then installed by the team that made them.

The service

Custom aluminium, made for your opening

We fabricate architectural aluminium for homes, builders and commercial projects across Sydney — everything from a single side gate to a full louvre facade on a multi-storey build.

Aluminium is the material of choice for most outdoor metalwork in Sydney, and for good reason: it's light enough to span wide openings without heavy posts, it won't rust when the salt air rolls in, and powder coating gives you a colour that stays put. It's also forgiving to work with, which means we can hold tight, even slat spacings and clean mitred corners that look deliberate rather than approximate.

Every job starts with a measure on site. We fabricate to those dimensions in our Condell Park workshop, then come back and install. Nothing is cut to a standard size and packed out to fit.

Material

Why choose aluminium for your Sydney project

Sydney throws salt, UV and heavy rain at everything outdoors. Aluminium handles all three better than most alternatives.

It doesn't rust

Aluminium forms its own protective oxide layer, so coastal and poolside installs won't bleed rust stains down your brickwork or render.

Light but strong

Roughly a third the weight of steel, so it spans wide gates and balcony balustrades without oversized posts or heavy loads on the structure.

Powder coat that holds

A baked powder coat finish resists UV fade and chalking far better than paint, in any colour from matte black to monument and surfmist.

Almost no maintenance

No sanding, staining or repainting the way timber needs. A wash down a couple of times a year is genuinely all it asks for.

Our capabilities

What we fabricate in aluminium

Five things we build constantly — and plenty of one-off pieces that don't fit a category.

Aluminium louvre pergola with adjustable opening roof blades over an outdoor dining area Pergolas

Aluminium Pergolas

Create a more comfortable and functional outdoor space with a custom aluminium pergola. Designed to complement your home, aluminium pergolas provide lasting shade and shelter while giving your backyard, patio or entertaining area a clean, modern finish.

Aluminium Balustrades

Balcony, stair, landing and pool-surround balustrades in vertical blade, horizontal slat or flat-top profiles. Heights and infill spacings are set to suit the relevant Australian Standards for your application — we confirm what applies when we measure.

Powder coated vertical slat aluminium fence across a suburban front boundary Fencing

Aluminium Fencing

Slat and blade fencing for front boundaries, side returns and pool surrounds. We step fencing to follow sloping ground so the top line stays straight instead of riding the hill.

Aluminium Privacy Screens

Screens that block the neighbour's sightline without killing the breeze or the light. Used for courtyards, balconies, air-conditioning units, bin bays and as internal feature dividers.

Aluminium Gates

Swing, double and sliding gates, pedestrian side gates and automated driveway gates. Built square, hung on proper hardware, and adjusted on site so they latch cleanly every time.

Commercial & Custom

Louvre facades, sunshades, plant screens, letterbox surrounds and bespoke architectural pieces for multi-unit and commercial projects. If it's drawn, we'll price it.

Our process

How your aluminium job gets made

01

Site measure

We come out, measure the actual opening and check levels, falls and fixing points — the things that decide whether a gate swings true.

02

Design & quote

Profile, slat spacing, blade direction, powder coat colour and hardware all get agreed in writing before a single length is cut.

03

Fabricate & coat

Cut, welded and assembled in our workshop, then powder coated in your chosen colour for a finish that survives Sydney weather.

04

Install

Delivered and fitted by our own team. We square everything up, adjust the hardware and clean up before we leave.

Why choose us

We'd rather do it properly than quickly

Aluminium is easy to get wrong in ways that only show up later — uneven slat gaps, a gate that drops, screws that bite into the coating and start weeping.

  • Fabricated in-house. Not outsourced, marked up and handed on with nobody accountable.
  • Even spacings, clean corners. Slat gaps are set out across the full run so they stay consistent end to end.
  • Proper hardware. Hinges and latches sized for the gate, so it still closes right in two years.
  • Colour matched to your build. Bring a code or a sample and we'll coat to it.
  • One team, start to finish. The people who measured it are the people who install it.

Questions

Aluminium fabrication FAQs

Is aluminium better than steel for outdoor work?

For most exposed residential work — gates, fencing, screens, pergolas — aluminium wins because it won't rust and it's lighter to hang. Steel is the better call when you need maximum structural strength or a traditional wrought iron look. We fabricate both, so we'll tell you honestly which suits your job.

Can you automate a driveway gate?

Yes — sliding and swing gates can both be set up for automation. It's worth deciding early, because the motor type affects how we build the gate frame and where the posts go. Mention it when you enquire and we'll allow for it.

How much privacy do slat screens actually give?

It depends on the gap and the blade angle. Tight spacings or angled blades block direct sightlines from neighbouring windows while still letting air and filtered light through. We'll talk through the trade-off between privacy, breeze and light at the measure.

Do you work with builders on multi-unit projects?

Regularly. Balustrade runs across townhouse developments, louvre facades and repeat screen and gate packages are a big part of what we do. Send through the drawings and we'll price the package.

How long does a typical job take?

It depends on the size of the job, the powder coating queue and how busy we are at the time. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with your quote rather than an optimistic one — call 0434 045 911 for current lead times.
