Sydney wide

Glass Fabrication Sydney

Frameless balustrades, pool fencing, stair and balcony panels and privacy screens — toughened glass, minimal hardware, and a view you don't have to look through a frame to see.

The service

Glass that disappears, hardware that doesn't fail

We design, supply and install toughened glass balustrades and pool fencing across Sydney — measured to your site, with the metalwork made in the same workshop.

The appeal of glass is obvious: it protects an edge without stealing the view. On a balcony with a city or water outlook, or around a pool you actually want to look at, glass is the only material that does the job and stays out of the way. Inside, a frameless stair balustrade keeps light moving through a stairwell instead of boxing it in.

The part people don't see is the part that matters. Every panel is toughened safety glass, cut and processed to the exact size of your opening — glass can't be trimmed once it's toughened, so the measure has to be right the first time. Spigots, standoffs, channel and handrails are then selected and installed to suit the substrate and the exposure of your site.

Why choose glass for your Sydney project

If the view, the light or the sense of space matters, nothing else comes close.

Keeps the view

A balcony or pool surround stays open. You get the barrier you need without trading away what you're looking at.

More light, more space

Stairwells and courtyards feel noticeably bigger without solid balustrade panels cutting the light in half.

Toughened safety glass

Heat-treated to be far stronger than ordinary glass, and designed to break into blunt granules rather than shards if it ever does.

Nothing to repaint

Glass doesn't rust, rot or fade. Keep the panels clean and the hardware rinsed and it looks the same in ten years.

Our capabilities

What we build in glass

Floor-to-ceiling frameless glass panels held by black clamps alongside a timber staircase Frameless

Frameless Glass Balustrades

The cleanest option available — panels held by clamps, spigots or channel with no posts between them. Ideal where you want the barrier to disappear entirely.

Glass Pool Fencing

Frameless and semi-frameless pool fencing with self-closing, self-latching gates. Pool barriers are regulated in NSW — we set out heights, gaps and gate hardware to suit the requirements that apply to your pool and confirm them at the measure.

Glass Stair Balustrades

Raked panels cut to follow the pitch of your stairs, with or without a top handrail. Keeps a stairwell feeling open and lets light travel between floors.

Glass Balcony Balustrades

Top-fixed, side-fixed or channel-set balcony balustrades. We match the hardware finish to the rest of your metalwork so the balcony reads as one detail, not three.

Our process

How your glass job gets made

Glass is unforgiving — once a panel is toughened it can't be cut down. That makes the measure the most important step.

01

Precise site measure

We measure the opening, check levels and falls, and confirm what you're fixing into — concrete, tile, timber or steel all change the hardware.

02

Specify & confirm

Glass thickness, panel layout, hardware finish and gate positions are agreed before anything is ordered.

03

Cut & toughen

Panels are cut to size, edges polished and cut-outs made, then heat-toughened. Any metalwork is fabricated alongside in our workshop.

04

Install & adjust

Panels set, levelled and packed, hardware torqued, gates adjusted to close and latch properly every time.

Why choose us

The metalwork is ours too

Most glass jobs are really metal jobs with glass in them. Spigots, channel, top rails, gate posts and the frame it all fixes to — that's the part that decides whether it looks right.

  • One supplier for the whole run. Glass panels, metal framing and gates matched and installed together.
  • Measured to the millimetre. Toughened glass can't be trimmed on site, so we don't guess.
  • Hardware chosen for the site. Coastal exposure gets a different spec to a sheltered courtyard.
  • Gates that keep working. Pool gate hinges adjusted so they close and latch reliably, not just on day one.
  • Clean sightlines. Panels aligned and gaps consistent, because uneven gaps are the first thing people notice.

Questions

Glass fabrication FAQs

What's the difference between frameless and semi-frameless?

Frameless uses thicker glass held by base spigots or channel, with no posts between panels — the cleanest look and the higher price. Semi-frameless uses posts at intervals with thinner glass between them, which costs less and suits windier or more exposed sites. We'll show you both at the quote.

Does glass pool fencing have to meet regulations?

Yes. Pool barriers in NSW are regulated, covering barrier height, gaps under and between panels, gate self-closing and self-latching hardware, and the non-climbable zone around the fence. We set the job out to suit the requirements that apply to your pool and confirm the details with you at the measure.

Is glass safe for a balustrade?

Balustrade glass is toughened safety glass, which is several times stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness and is designed to break into small blunt granules rather than sharp shards. Thickness and fixing method are selected for the specific application.

How do I keep it looking clean?

Warm water and a squeegee handles most of it. Near the coast, rinsing the stainless hardware with fresh water every so often makes a real difference to how it ages — salt sitting on fittings is what causes tea staining.

Can you replace a single broken panel?

Usually. Send a photo of the panel and the fittings holding it, along with the opening size, and we'll work out whether we can match the existing system or whether the run needs a different approach.

Can you combine glass with aluminium or steel?

That's a lot of what we do. Glass balcony panels with aluminium slat screens at the ends, or a steel-framed gate with a glass infill. Because all three are handled by the same workshop, the finishes and details actually line up.
